Marta C. Youngblood specializes in development, management and evaluation of state, federal, and private foundation grants in informal and formal pre-K-16 education, workforce and community development with an emphasis in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). With over 11 years of experience in higher education, project coordination and fundraising, her grant writing and grant development assistance has helped secure over $7 million in grant proposals. Marta has 7 years of experience in delivery of ground-based and online collegiate course instruction in sociology and human resource development as well as STEM teacher in-service training.

Marta received her bachelor's degree in English with Journalism emphasis from Tougaloo College and her master's degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University.

Marta also serves on several boards including the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts; the Distance Learning Coordinating Council; the Arkansas STEM Coalition; the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium and the Solgave Second Chance Project Board.
